Romano says Arsenal about to signal Brazilian

Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are on the verge of signing Brazilian winger Marquinhos from Sao Paulo.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Arsenal pays Sao Paulo €3-€3.5 million (£2.55-£2.97m) for Marquinhos.

The Gunners are actually reportedly making ready paperworks for the appropriate winger.

Reports from Brazil had earlier claimed that Arsenal’s bid for the 19-year-old winger had been accepted, and that Marquinhos was going to maneuver to the Gunners.

One for the long run

In our opinion, Marquinhos is a participant for Arsenal for the long run and is unlikely to be signed to make a direct affect on the Premier League.

After all, the winger is barely 19 and is simply beginning his profession.

We shouldn’t be shocked if Arsenal resolve to ship the Brazilian out on loan to a different membership for subsequent season.

Or perhaps the Gunners will merely use the winger within the Under-23 workforce.

Arsenal have an excellent and succesful younger squad, and Marquinhos may show to be a cut price signing for the North London membership sooner or later.
